CUMBERLAND COUNCIL (FOOTPATH NO. 103004 IN THE PARISH OF BEAUMONT) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS) ORDER 2025 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because of the likelihood of danger to the public due to a damaged bridge at Doudle Beck and to allow subsequent repair works to be carried out (“the Works”), Cumberland Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit pedestrians from proceeding along an approx. 15 metre section of Public Footpath No. 103004 in the Parish of Beaumont between Grid References: 335953 558756 and 335941 558748. A suitable alternative route for pedestrians is available via the unrestricted sections of Public Footpath No. 103004 and Public Footpath Nos. 103005 and 103015. This follows an emergency notice dated 13 February 2025. Any queries to the Countryside Access Team, The Parkhouse Building, Kingmoor Business Park, Carlisle CA6 4SJ or Highways hotline 0300 373 3736 or via the Cumberland Council website. The Order will come into operation on 6 March 2025 and may continue in force for a period of up to six months from that date, as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.
