THE COUNTY OF CUMBRIA (FOOTPATH NO. 103009 IN THE PARISH OF BEAUMONT) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because of the likelihood of danger to the public due to the dangerous condition of the bridges and to enable subsequent repair works to be carried out (“the Works”), the County Council of Cumbria has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit pedestrians from proceeding along the whole length of public footpath No 103009 in the parish of Beaumont between its junction with the U1111 and its junction with the U1113.

There is no suitable alternative route available for pedestrians.

This follows emergency notices dated 23 January 2023 and 13 February 2023.

The Order will come into operation on 6 March 2023 and may continue in force for a period of up to six months from that date as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed, although it is anticipated that it will be required for 6 months.
