Dear All,
Well here we are nearly at the end of August. Schools resume next week for the Autumn Term after a much extended break this year and the Chapel re-opens next Sunday 6th September with a shortened service at 10.30am led by Glynis Milburn. Remember to wear your face coverings and please note you will be handed a hymn book as you come in and allocated a seat (perhaps not your usual one!), you will leave the hymn book in your seat for next time.
I forgot to mention the following last week, taken from the previous Sunday's Morning Worship, broadcast every Sunday by Radio Cumbria just after the 8 o'clock news (well worth listening to while having breakfast with a different speaker each week). The service was led that morning by the talented song writer and artist Noel Robinson and featured a song he had written to the tune we all know "Abide with me" with these fantastic and memorable words (see attachment)
I leave you with the following few words from NCMC Facebook page:
Church is not an organisation you join
It is a family where you belong
A home where you are loved
And a hospital where you find healing
Let us pray that Monkhill Chapel provides such a home for Church members and non-members and we hope for good support next week.
Looking forward to seeing you then,
Regards and God bless,
Lynne
