Mobile Library Route 9 service in the Parish withdrawn    8 August, 2016

The Council have contacted all the registered mobile users in the Carlisle and Eden districts, including those on Route 9, to notify them of the change and to advise them on how they can still access the library service through our network of static libraries. A number of borrowers who do not have the means to visit our local libraries have been added to our home delivery service.

Within the parish, books can be borrowed from The Drover's Rest in Monkhill.

There is also the Library Afternoon at The Drover's Rest, Monkhill on Thursdays between 2pm and 5pm. A variety of books for children and adults will be available to choose from and to take away on loan. Click here for more details.

Cake, Coffee and Books for adults from 2pm - 5pm. Books for all tastes. Let the group know if you like to read certain types of book, they will then be able to cater for you. Transport can be aranged, contact Kathleen 575010 or Bryony 576403.

Children's Borrow-a-Book and Story-time. Come along and look at all our books - maybe there's one you would like to take home to read.
